The Great Reset is a VR Experience, made in Quill. The Great Reset is an initiative by the World Economic Forum to renew the worlds economy and society in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, with a strong focus on building a resilient, equitable, and sustainable economy.
But because many people in the society have started to mistrust many economical organisations and governments a conspiracy theory emerged, regarding The Great Reset: an elite group, including many capitalist companies, are trying to overhaul the society, take control of private ownership. Partakes are carrying a ring of evil, which looks like this:
I have taken the symbol and implemented it into my world in VR. The viewer is spawned on an eerie looking planet and is sucked into a hole which leads to the inner evil doings of the planet. We lose orientation, we don't know whats going on, all we see are corrupted humans, controlled by a glowing orb, which seems to be exchanging data with the outer world. It is corrupting people and is turning them into unrecognizable beings.
Something that I also looked into, was how to create organic beings, that are alive, but can not be recognized as any human form. Searching creepy forms and monsters on the internet always results in corrupted humans, that have holes or look gory, they have eyes, a mouth, limbs etc., so I tried to create organic, weird beings, as far from a human form as I could imagine.
